Covid-19 Protocols

Additional Competition Conditions during Covid-19
Entry to competitions on the Howdidido app are to be made before you start playing and results to be uploaded once you have verbally agreed your score with your marker.

1.  Flagsticks are to remain in the hole at all times. The ball is holed when at rest with any part of it below the surface of the putting green, even if not lodged against the flagstick.

2.  All rakes are removed from bunkers. Please practice foot raking to smooth bunkers once you have played your shot.

The Parent Committee have decided to implement a temporary local rule for bunkers: "When a player's ball lies in a bunker, the player may prefer the lie within six inches. (See Model Local Rule E-3 for details of how this must be done.)" Must not be nearer the hole than the reference point and must be in the general area. Please note that smoothing the sand before placing the ball is not allowed. In proceeding under this Local Rule, the player must choose a spot to place the ball and use the procedures for
replacing a ball under Rules 14.2b(2) and 14.2e.
